Artist Bio
I have been obsessed with fast motorcycles and cars for longer than I can recall. When I was a child my Dad would put me on his lap and we would blast around on his HD Low Rider. To me, that was the greatest feeling in the world.
As I grew up I found myself airbrushing t-shirts at a local amusement park. The money was good and the people were fun (I met my wife there). Naturally I decided to combine my occupation with my obsession. So in 2003 I started hanging around a painter who showed me the basics. Shortly after, wanting to further my artistic abilities, I enrolled in the distinguished Communication Arts program at VCU. I met a lot of gifted artists and learned from some of the best professors in the country.
In 2005, I created NAYLOR FINISHES. I have been able to combine all of my knowledge and influences to create one of the finest custom shops in Virginia. The business continues to grow and I continue to learn. My wife Dawn supports me with the back end of the business.
My goal for the business is to provide the highest quality and most innovative products possible to my clients.
Thanks,
Sonny
